The Year 4 children got to experience a new sport this week as they got their first taste of lacrosse.

They will receive coaching from Reading Wildcats for the next six weeks and, judging from their excitement afterwards, they all seemed to enjoy their first session of lacrosse.

Year 4 football

A Year 4 boys football team competed at the Crosfields tournament last week. The boys played five matches, winning three of them and losing two. All the boys played well but Alfie Sarvar particularly impressed in our game against Raniket when he scored all four goals in our 4-0 victory. Well done boys, you were a credit to the school!

Year 6 football

The Year 6 boys fought out an exciting 3-3 draw at home to Moorlands last week (Sept 29th).

Park Lane took a 3-1 lead at half-time but Moorlands fought back well in the second half to claim a draw.

Well done to all nine boys who played as they showed some great passing and movement in their first outing of the season.
